Arin McIntosh is a eighteen year old honor student at Mitchell High School. There she participates in many extra curricular activities including the basketball team, volleyball team and serves on the student council. Even with all of these activities, her primary interest lies in race cars.
Arin started racing at the age of eleven. Her debut appearance was at Bakersfield Raceway Park in Linton, Indiana. She competed there in a 250cc Micro Sprint, which she went on to drive for the following two and a half years. Miss McIntosh showed her self and spectators alike that she was very competitive by finishing second in the National Modified Midget Association (NMMA) points in 2002 at the age of thirteen.
After this accomplishment, she moved into the 600cc Micro Sprints in 2003. In this highly competitive class, Arin showed great accomplishment by winning the Rookie of the Year Award in the North American Auto Racing Series (NAMARS) and fourth in over all points.
